Brief Biography
Born in Liverpool and now living and painting in the west of Ireland. Alan's landscapes convey space, atmosphere and colour. Often he will paint a similar view at different times of the year, attracted by the different colours. He mainly paints outdoors, returning to the same place depending on the weather until the painting is finished, sometimes adding detail in the studio.
